About ArkC3D

ArkC3D is a browser-based tool for inspecting C3D motion capture files.

Supported Data

3D marker positions, frame ranges, point labels, analog channels, selected C3D parameters, and local CSV export.

Privacy

C3D files and generated CSV contents are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to ArkC3D for viewing or export.

ArkC3D records limited anonymous file-open metrics in Cloudflare D1. The application does not store file names, file contents, extracted C3D data, IP addresses, User-Agent values, cookies, or persistent user identifiers in those metrics. ArkC3D does not use Google Analytics.

CSV Export license verification sends the License Key to the ArkC3D license API, which validates it with Lemon Squeezy. The ArkC3D license API does not store purchase email addresses. Lemon Squeezy separately processes buyer and order information for checkout, payment, receipts, and license issuance.

See the Privacy Policy for the complete data-handling description.

Limitations

This tool is intended for research, education, and engineering workflows. It is not a medical device or a full C3D validator and should not be used as the sole basis for clinical diagnosis, treatment, legal, or other high-stakes decisions.

Results are not guaranteed to be complete or accurate. Always verify critical data with appropriate software, source records, and domain expertise.

Some vendor-specific extensions, unsupported processor formats, and full biomechanical validation are outside the current scope.

Independence

ArkC3D is an independent project and is not affiliated with C3D.org or Motion Lab Systems.

Convert C3D Files to CSV Online

ArkC3D exports C3D motion capture data to analysis-ready CSV files directly in your browser. Export marker coordinates, analog signals, events, marker quality, and metadata without uploading your C3D file.

What gets exported

Select the CSV tables you need and download them together as a ZIP archive.

CSV fileContents
markers.csv3D marker coordinates by point frame.
marker_quality.csvMarker validity, residual, and camera count.
analog.csvScaled analog values at the original analog sampling rate.
events.csvEvent time, label, status, context, and description.
metadata.csvUnits, sampling rates, labels, and repair provenance when applicable.

Built for analysis workflows

Use exported CSV data with Excel, MATLAB, Python, R, and other tools that accept tabular data. ArkC3D keeps marker, analog, event, quality, and metadata outputs separate so each table has a clear purpose.

Local C3D processing

C3D files are parsed in your browser and are not uploaded to ArkC3D for viewing or export. Generated CSV contents are also created locally on your device.

CSV Export access

CSV Export is a paid feature with a one-time purchase and no subscription. You can open and inspect a C3D file before purchasing. An internet connection is required for license verification when you export.

C3D viewer included

Before exporting, inspect 3D markers, analog signals, events, force plate metadata, frame ranges, and supported C3D parameters in the ArkC3D viewer. Learn about the online C3D viewer.

Export C3D data for analysis

Export marker, analog, event, quality, and metadata tables as CSV files for Excel, MATLAB, Python, R, and other analysis tools.

Your C3D file and CSV contents stay in your browser. They are not sent to the payment or license verification service.

Individual License

US$19.00 · One-time purchase · No subscription.

The license itself has no scheduled expiration and is granted to one natural person. You may use it on multiple computers and browsers that you personally use, but sharing or transferring the License Key is not permitted.

CSV Export requires an internet connection for online license verification each time you export and depends on the availability of ArkC3D and its licensing infrastructure.

Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy in a checkout overlay. C3D files and exported CSV contents remain in your browser and are not sent to the payment or license verification service.
